Bring out the Artist in you and join us on a meandering cycle tour of some of West Cork's wonderful watery places. Stopping to soak up the surroundings, creating a series of watercolour works as we go.
We will begin at the Cycle Sense workshop (post code P81 FY79) at 1pm and will return around 5pm.
Cycling to three nearby watery places of natural beauty, where using the high-quality materials provided and facilitated by artist Caoimhe Pendred, we will create a series of watercolour postcards.
Drinks and light snacks are included and all materials are provided, no painting experience needed.
The event will be overseen by experienced cycle safety instructors from Cycle Sense.
Bring a bike or Cycle Sense can provide one by contacting Katie on 087 7589716.
The cycle will be at a gentle pace and not very far between painting stops.

Caoimhe Pendred is a multimedia Visual Artist Living and working in West Cork. Caoimhe holds an honors degree in Visual Art (BAVA Sherkin Island ,DIT). Her most recent exhibitions include Ode to Hy Brazil, 'Telling the Bees' & Nature and Nurture. Her work is informed by how we use stories myth +folklore to make sense of the world and how imagination informs our reality. Her work calls us to venture beyond our everyday lived experience through the veils, to a deeper almost forgotten and almost remembered wisdom.
